Admission

Admission to the LL.B. 3 years Degree Programme is made strictly on the basis of merit as assessed through an entrance test conducted by the college.

The entrance test paper consists of:

  1. General Awareness
  2. Linguistic Ability
  3. Reasoning including legal acumen etc. with multiple choice questions. Descriptive questions may be asked

The test paper will carry 100 marks and cut off marks of admission shall be determined by the college.

Eligibility for Admission

  1. Candidate should have passed Graduation examination in any discipline there to securing in the aggregate 45% of total marks for General category candidates and 40% for SC/ST and OBC candidates.
  2. Qualify the entrance test.

Application for admission in prescribed format must be attached with the following documents:

  1. College leaving certificate, original
  2. Migration certificate, original (if he/she has completed his/her last qualification from any university other than Kolhan University along with prescribed format
  3. Attested copies of the following documents:
    1. Marksheets (Matriculation, Intermediate & Graduation)
    2. Matriculation Board certificate for date of birth
    3. Caste certificate and Income certificate (in case of SC/ST/OBC)
    4. Entrance test admit card
    5. The candidate who is selected for admission, if he/she is an employee must bring No Objection certificate at the time of admission from concerned employer, along with Affidavit regarding employment / non-employment.
  4. Three self-addressed and duly stamped 9” x 4” envelopes

The above must be submitted on or before stipulated date as mentioned in the admission notice / admit card of the entrance test.

Total Intakes and Reservation

The total intake is 120 comprising two sections of 60 each, the reservation shall be applicable as per the provision of Govt. of Jharkhand.

Condition for filling up the examination form

  1. Attendance in compulsory and the students should have more than 75% attendance for appearing in the end term examination
  2. Practical classes shall be held in Courts, for the students of 2nd and 3rd Attendance in the Court is compulsory failing which, the candidate will not be send up for University examination

Identity Card

The college will issue and Identity Card to all the bonafide students, the students are required to carry their identity card, they must produce on demand by the authority.

In case of loss of Identity Card, a duplicate copy of identity card shall be issues after compliance of the requisite formalities and paying the requisite fee.
