The college has a well-qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty that is committed to the cause of high-quality legal education. The faculty members are also attending the orientation / refreshed programmes organized by UGC to improve the quality of teaching. Apart from permanent faculty, college and students get enlightened by the wide experience and scholarly knowledge of certain legal luminaries who belong to the different fields of law like but, corporates etc. taking the classes as visiting faculty or guest faculty.
Dr. Jitendra Kumar
Assistant Professor in Law, Kolhan University, appointed on the basis of recommendation of Jharkhand Public Service Commission, obtained B.A.(Hons) from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, LL.B. from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi, LL.M. degree from M.D. University, Rohtak. He has qualified UGC-NET. Ph. D (Law) in addition to that completed Master of Business Laws (MBL) from National Law School of India University, Bengaluru and Post Graduate Diploma in Human Rights from Indian Institute of Human Rights, New Delhi. He practiced as an Advocate, for more than four years in Jharkhand High Court, Ranchi. He taught in the LL.M. course at Ranchi College, Ranchi. He worked as a Legal Assistant, directly attached with the Hon’able Judges in the establishment of Jharkhand High Court. He has vast experience of implication of knowledge of law, practically as well as theoretically. He has keen interest in imparting legal education and social services. He has also worked with various NGOs. At present he is holding the responsibility of Prof. in charge.
Sri Sanjeev Kumar Biruly
Lecturer in Law, Kolhan University, appointed on basis of recommendation of Jharkhand Public Service Commission, obtained B.A.(Hons), M.A, LL.B., LL.M. Degree from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi.
He has qualified UGC-NET. He has participated in various national seminars. He has taught in the Dr. Rizvi College of Law, Kaushambhi, U.P. as Lecturer in Law.
Sri Anand Kumar
Lecturer in Law, Kolhan University appointed on recommendation of Jharkhand Public Service Commission obtained LL.B. and LL.M. from University of Delhi, Delhi. He has qualified UGC-NET with JRF. He has taught in Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi. He has done extensive research in the field of Right to Information and attended various seminars and conferences on various issues like Lok Adalats, defects in Criminal Justice System etc. He possesses keen interest in commercial law, legal history, alternative dispute resolution etc.
